ABOUT AID Ethiopia

Action for Integrated Development Ethiopia (AID-Ethiopia) is an Ethiopian civil society organization established in 2021, but was legally registered in 2023 as a board led local civil society organization, with a mission of striving to meet the humanitarian and developmental needs of societies regardless of race, color, religion or cultural background. The organization is legally registered with registration number 6938 by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Authority for Civil Society Organizations. AID Ethiopia is established to provide both developmental and humanitarians’ services. It’s a human-centered non-government, not-for-profit and non- sectarian, non- partisan organization working for human rights and social developments of vulnerable and disadvantaged people. It could also be labeled as an implementing organization which designs and implements various developmental projects with the financial and technical support of international donors and funding agencies, as well as the government. AID-Ethiopia has been developing various working manuals and guide lines so as to institutionalize different organizational systems, increase accountability and transparency as well as improve quality programs. Moreover, AID-Ethiopia works on a 3-to-5-year strategic plan that includes a plan for financial sustainability; and Human resources policy with the aim to recruit and retain qualified young men and women and ensure organizational sustainability.

Contribute to the national effort of reducing the negative influence of social and economic impacts against Deprived, Vulnerable and Excluded (DEV) children, women, youth and vulnerable adults through humanitarian services and development programs such as improving education, health, livelihood, nutrition and psychosocial status in the organization operation areas.
